"Student Life" "Student Life" Giorgos Karafergias
The impending school year is nerve wracking for many different people.
New students, heading into the unknown; students returning that have a year or two under their belts. These are the wise ones who should teach their new peers the way of the Samurai. And then there are students like myself who are nearing the finish line; the ones that will, hopefully, graduate at the end of next year.

It is a daunting concept that we will be flung from the protective safety blanket that is school and have the title of “student” ripped from our identity. We will be unleashed into the big, bad world: ready or not.

This is where things will become interesting. Where will we go? What will we do? And who will we become? The answers to those questions are left unanswered for most as they struggle to find what it is they are truly interested in doing for the rest of their lives.

But, as this last year is on the verge of commencing, I can only hope that it will be a memorable experience that will help to shape myself and my peers; give us one last run as students and help set us on our individual paths, wherever they may lead us.
